Gigabit single mode single fiber
Gigabit single mode single fiber

The Gigabit single-mode single-fiber optical module adopts foreign-imported chips and delivers high performance with low power consumption, keeping signal transmission stable and fast. The single-fiber (BiDi) design carries both transmit and receive traffic over one strand of single-mode fiber, which halves the fiber count required for Gigabit links.
Key features
- Imported chips — foreign-imported optical chipset for high performance and consistent quality.
- Low power consumption — reduces heat and running cost in continuously powered links.
- Stable and fast signal transmission — a stable optical output for Gigabit data traffic.
- Single-fiber bidirectional (BiDi) design — transmit and receive over one single-mode fiber, saving fiber resources.
- Optical rate matched to 1.25 Gbps Gigabit links — designed for the corresponding switch and router ports.
Application scope
- Fiber to the home (FTTH) projects
- Cable network TV (CATV)
- Passive optical network systems (EPON / BPON / GPON)
- Other optical splitting systems
- Local area networks (LAN) and access networks
- Metropolitan area networks (MAN)
