Type TC tray cable is one of our main export products: a paired, individually and overall shielded instrumentation cable with PVC/nylon insulation and a black PVC jacket, listed to UL 1277.
Key features
- UL 1277 Type TC; also UL 66 Type TFN
- 600 V, 90 °C rated; sunlight resistant; FT4
- 18–16 AWG stranded bare copper, PVC insulation with nylon
- Pairs colour coded and identified with numeric print
- Precabled pair shield plus overall aluminium/polyester foil tape and tinned copper drain
- Black PVC jacket — flame retardant, sunlight resistant, gas/vapour tight
- Rip cord under the jacket for easy stripping; surface printed
- Jacket surface printed with AWG size, type letters, temperature, rated voltage, manufacturer name, UL file number, characteristic and length in feet
