The PLC Stainless tube splitter is an integrated waveguide optical power distribution device based on a quartz substrate. It offers small size, a wide operating wavelength range, high reliability and good splitting uniformity, and is especially suitable for passive optical networks (EPON, BPON, GPON and similar), connecting the central office to the terminal device and splitting the optical signal.

Key features

• Micro encapsulation — the PLC splitter chip and the input/output fiber arrays are encapsulated in a square metal tube, with the optical path led out through a bare fiber of 0.9 mm or 250 µm. The fiber can be spliced or terminated with a variety of fiber optic connectors.
• Full 1×N and 2×N range — 1×N and 2×N splitters evenly divide the optical signal from a single or dual inlet into multiple outlets, or work in reverse to combine multiple optical signals into a single or dual fiber. Custom splitters are available for specific applications.
• Standards compliance — all products conform to “YD/T 1117-2001 all-fiber branch device technical conditions” and “YD/T 2000.1-2014 planar optical waveguide integrated optical circuit device based on planar optical waveguide (PLC) optical power splitter”, and are TLC certified.
