Type TC tray cable is one of our main export products: a paired, individually and overall shielded instrumentation cable with PVC/nylon insulation and a black PVC jacket, listed to UL 1277.

UL 1277 Type TC; also UL 66 Type TFN
600 V, 90 °C rated; sunlight resistant; FT4
18–16 AWG stranded bare copper, PVC insulation with nylon
Pairs colour coded and identified with numeric print
Precabled pair shield plus overall aluminium/polyester foil tape and tinned copper drain
Black PVC jacket — flame retardant, sunlight resistant, gas/vapour tight
Rip cord under the jacket for easy stripping; surface printed
Jacket surface printed with AWG size, type letters, temperature, rated voltage, manufacturer name, UL file number, characteristic and length in feet
